The arcane perfection of Baphomet sheds light on all things, bringing symmetry and balance to those who seek knowledge. But why do witches hold their Sabbath deep in the forest? It's tradition, but there's also plenty of space, privacy, and firewood, plus those annoying nosy inquisitors are likely to get their robes caught on tree branches and occasionally fall down a ravine or get eaten by bears. Yay! This sock design is based on Emile Bayard's La Danse du Sabbat illustration for History of Magic, the Supernatural World and Fate, through Times and Peoples published in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Pitois. It turned out to be quite the popular book, but we sadly don't have any information on whether it caused a spike in the sale of 19th-century camping equipment.
